The dog is hungry, what shall we give it to eat? A nice bone! “Woof woof, thank you,” it answers. The cat is hungry too, what shall we give it to eat? A delicious sardine! “Meow meow, thank you,” it answers. And so on - seeds for the bird, a fly for the frog and a carrot for the rabbit. Simply lift the flap, which represents the animal’s mouth, and feed it. And what does the child eat? A delicious red apple! A funny new board book to play with animals.

 

 

Caroline Dall’Ava was born in 1982. She graduated from the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg (now HEAR) and works regularly with French and foreign publishers and children’s magazines. She also enjoys working on joint projects with the ceramist Yoko Homareda and runs workshops for children in schools.
