THE CHAMELEON WHO THOUGHT HE WAS UGLY

Le Caméléon qui se trouvait moche - Souleymane Mbodj & Magali Attiogbé - 22 x 28,5 cm - 32 pages - €14 - September 2019

A long, long time ago, lived a chameleon, who thought he was ugly. He could not bear his big eyes, short legs or little horns. Then one day, he heard about Sadio, a magician with the power to transform animals. After a long walk under the savannah’s burning sun, and after barely escaping a poisonous snake, the chameleon receives the secret of true beauty from the magician. A tale that leads the reader to think about the importance we place in appearances and accepting ourselves as we are, by the enchanting storyteller Souleymane Mbodj, and Magali Attiogbé, with her naïve and fauve style illustrations.
