Frequently on travel, Juliette’s parents adopt Leo the leopard to keep their daughter company. With him, Juliette has a lot of fun. The two companions soon become inseparable. But one day, an accident happens and Leo is locked up at the zoo. Quickly, the two friends realize that they can’t live apart. Suddenly, Juliette has a brilliant idea! She is going to build LOVEVILLE, a place where humans and animals can live together freely, a town filled with joy and harmony. A story about friendship which proves that cherishing a friend and loving animals can drive someone to accomplish great things.

Lola Hale is an author, designer, photographer and film director. After studying at L’école du Jeu (Paris), she obtained a master’s degree in graphic design (École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, 2009) and studied graphic communication at the Royal College of Art (London, 2011). In 2010, she won the Oberon First Prize for Book Illustration and Design. She has published many artist’s books and she currently works for magazines, newspapers, museums and festivals.

Camilla Pintonato lives and works in Venice as an illustrator, designer and author. She studied illustration at MiMaster (Milan, 2013) and completed a master’s degree in design at ISIA (Urbino, 2017). She has illustrated, among others, Homer’s Odyssey (Feltrinelli, 2015), Pleine lune (Comme des géants, 2019) and Questo non è un pollo (Clichy, 2019). She has also created installations for the Tedeschi Foundation in Venice. She is the artistic director of the Pelo magazine.
