PAULINE, MY LITTLE HIDEAWAY

Pauline, une petite place pour moi - Anouk Mahiout & Marjolaine Perreten

 - 24,5x 28,6 cm - 48 pages - Hardback cover book - CAN$22.95 - Summer 2020

With a story that highlights the importance of finding our place in the world, Mahiout and Perreten create a universe overflowing with reverie, sensitivity and tenderness. A poignant comic book, which deals with solitude, freedom and autonomy.

The eldest child of four, Pauline struggles to find her place in her family. She dreams of sailing off on a boat and running away from her crowded household. Fortunately, she has built a secret hideaway in her house. A quiet place, where she brings all of her precious belongings. There, Pauline can give free rein to her imagination, deeply nourished by her readings. She imagines dozens of wonderful places where she is as free as a bird.
