A little boy imagines that he has unusual physical traits and all the things he would do with them. The picture book alternates between pages of text with the little boy by himself, and large illustrations of him in a situation (in exactly the same position!). The lively, sing-song text almost sounds like a nursery rhyme. This new picture book by Cécile Bonbon (the illustrator of Machin, which has sold 15,000 copies) is an ode to the imagination!

 

 

 

Stéphanie Demasse-Pottier is a librarian in the children’s book section and has written several picture books.

 

Cécile Bonbon is a French author, graphic designer and illustrator who graduated from the Beaux-Arts. She worked as a graphic designer before becoming a successful children’s book illustrator.
