It’s Sunday. Camille is bored on Sundays. Without attracting her parent’s attention, she ventures out to play in the backyard. She likes to explore the garden, even when it's raining like today. A world of wonders awaits to be discovered there. Today, the ants, the spiders and the snails are all talking about a big show. Camille will attend something very unusual. Her findings will lead her to a huge tree where she will witness a phenomenon of great beauty.

Mathieu Pierloot is a teacher and author. He first studied journalism, then political science in Brussels. He started writing stories in 2000. He became a scriptwriter for comic strips and published several picture books with Warum. He then wrote a few novels for young readers. Some of them were released by L’école des loisirs. He lives in Brussels with his wife and daughter.

Maria Dek is an author and illustrator of children’s books. After taking art classes in London, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she still lives today. Her work has been exhibited in Poland and abroad. In France, two of her books were published by Hélium Editions.

“Flipping through the pages, we realize how much the world can amaze us if we slow down and take the time to observe it. I love these stories celebrating life in a simple way. The ending doesn’t need frills nor cymbals because it is perfect as it is.”
